It's been a week almost a week now and my project to backup my collection of C64 floppy disks is progressing along, although a little slower than I first thought. So far, I've "ripped" about sixteen floppies (double sided)

11 July 07 - 23:15My Commodore 64 gets an upgrade
After twenty or so years, I've upgraded my Commodore 64 system. Yesterday I received my new
MMC64 card, which I ordered from Protovision; a software/hardware company still releasing products for the Commodore 64.
Although a little pricey (50 Eur, which came out to about $80.00 CND including shipping), I think the new capabilities the MMC64 card will provide for me is well worth the price.
The MMC64 is an expansion card

03 July 07 - 21:33I adore my Commodore 128
Jackpot! It's been a while, but this weekend I finally upgraded my old-school computer/video game room with the addition of a Commodore 128 PC. In fact, this C=128 I found was in particularily good shape, still stored in its original box.
Not only that, but the person I bought the computer from also had a 1541-II floppy drive, also still in its original box. It had a price tag of $178.00... but I got the two pieced for a bargain price of $30.00. I'm glad
